Thurston Regional Planning Council (TRPC) is an intergovernmental board made up of local government jurisdictions within Thurston County in Washington State. TRPC is located in Olympia, Washington (the state capital).

The Council develops regional plans and policies for transportation, growth management, environmental quality and other topics.  TRPC also acts as a regional clearinghouse for planning and demographic information and data.

Draft 2009-2012 Regional Transportation Improvement Plan
for the Thurston Region

Thurston Regional Planning Council (TRPC) invites the public to comment on the draft 2009-2012 Regional Transportation Improvement Program (RTIP).

Natural Hazards Mitigation Plan for the Thurston Region Update
Twenty local governments, special districts, colleges, and other public agencies have participated in the development of the multi-jurisdictional “Natural Hazards Mitigation Plan for the Thurston Region”. This plan was approved by the Federal Emergency Management Agency on October 6, 2003 and is now in the process of being updated.

Shoreline Master Program Updates
The cities of Lacey, Olympia, and Tumwater are in the midst of updating their policies and regulations for shorelines.  This joint planning effort is being coordinated by TRPC.

Thurston Regional Trails Plan
The Regional Trails Plan offers a vision for a region-wide trail network that connects people with places not just within Thurston County, but also looks beyond its borders for potential connections with neighboring counties.  The plan is foremost a trail systems blueprint.  It illustrates through maps and user-friendly narratives how multiple trails can connect. 

Thurston County Bicycle Map Online
A resource for both commuters and recreational bicyclists to plan their trip.  Includes bike lanes, wide shoulders, multi-use trails, local streets commonly used by bicyclists, facilities available and more.

West Olympia Access Study
This study will identify what transportation projects and programs are needed to meet the access and circulation needs of west Olympia.
