TRPC provides a variety of services and information to support local and regional decision-making as well as public process. Every year, the agency publishes a "Capability Profile" that highlights recent projects and staff capabilities.
MEMBERS receive

GENERAL SERVICES may be provided under a professional services contract
- Planning and public process assistance in the areas of growth management, transportation, water resources, and historic preservation
- Research and development of new data resources
- In-depth analysis of geographic data, customized maps, mapping of address-based information (geocoding)
- Development of specialized databases and GIS programs that automate repetitious tasks, manage data and provide efficient access to information
- Consultation and support to agencies purchasing or expanding GIS and computer hardware/software
- Production of complex documents
INFORMATION SERVICES
TRPC staff are also available to help both the public and constituent local governments with general and custom data requests. Staff annually respond to hundreds of wide-ranging requests for information. Some of the data TRPC can provide to you include:
- 2000 Census Results for Thurston County by Census Places, Census Tracts, and Block Groups;
- Population forecasts through the year 2020 by city, urban growth area, and traffic analysis zones;
- Employment forecasts through 2020 by major industrial classifications;
- Population trends for all Thurston County municipalities;
- Residential building permit activity by jurisdiction and date;
- Housing, economic, and employment trends; and
