ANNUAL POPULATION ESTIMATES
Annual population and dwelling unit estimates for Thurston County areas are developed shortly after the release of annual county-wide estimates by the State’s Office of Financial Management by June 30th. The following information is available:
- Total Population
- Population by housing type (single-family, multifamily, and manufactured homes)
- Population in group quarters (such as student dorms, correctional facilities, and nursing facilities).
- Housing (dwelling unit) estimates by housing type (single-family, multifamily, and manufactured homes).
This dataset is calibrated to Census 2010 datasets at the city level for population, and at the dwelling unit level for Census block groups.
