Thurston County Bicycle Map
This map was designed to help people plan bicycle trips throughout Thurston County. Bike lanes, roads with wide shoulders, and local streets commonly used by bicyclists are highlighted, as well as regional multi-use paths. Highlighted routes do not necessarily indicate a higher level of maintenance than other streets.   Multi-use paths and local streets are generally more comfortable for novice cyclists. Bike lanes and wide shoulders are usually located on busier streets. You can find more information on this map here. 

Regional Map
This map is a shaded relief map of the Thurston County area.  The shaded relief is based on a 2002 LIDAR survey. In addition to the shaded relief; city limits, urban growth areas, tribal reservations, military reservations, parks and public preserves, railroads, multi-use paths, colleges, transit centers and trail access points are shown:

Traffic Analysis Zones (TAZ) Maps
TAZs or Traffic Analysis Zones are the unit of geography most commonly used in TRPC’s transportation planning model.  Information linked to each TAZ can include the number of automobiles per household, household income, and employment within these zones. This information helps to further the understanding of trips that are produced and attracted within the zone

Profile Maps: 
The profile is a statistical and demographic report for Thurston County prepared annually by TRPC.  Maps from the profile include: geography, population and demographics, city limits and urban growth areas, annexations, population density, school districts, fire districts, political districts, housing starts, employment density, transportation infrastructure, PM peak traffic volumes, parks and trails, and hydrology.

Census Maps:
These maps are the various census 2000 census geographies for Thurston County.   Geographies include census tracks and census block groups.  The census uses these geographies to portray the household and demographic data they collect on their forms and surveys.  In addition to the census geographies city limits and major roads are shown.
