NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT
REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM AMENDMENT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Thurston Regional Planning Council (TRPC) invites public comment on a proposed amendment to the 2012-2015 Regional Transportation Improvement Program (RTIP) of state-sponsored, federally funded, and regionally significant transportation projects in Thurston County. The Washington State Department of Transportation proposes reducing the SR8/Mud Bay Bridges – Seismic Retrofit project to the bid award, which was more than 30% below the engineering estimate. The project complies with regional air quality conformity requirements.  Public comments will be presented to TRPC for consideration.
