DIGITAL SHORELINE INVENTORY FOR THE THURSTON REGION
In 2002 Thurston Regional Planning Council obtained a grant to collect and make available a number of digital data layers for the region's shoreline. A total of 49 data layers are available in this inventory. Please note that the "shoreline jurisdiction or environment" data layer is not included.
The data layers in this Digital Shoreline Inventory include those developed by TRPC, and other sources. Metadata is provided for each of the data layers. The purpose of this collection is to provide digital data that can assist a local jurisdiction in updating its Shoreline Master Program pursuant to new shoreline guidance found in WAC 173-26-200. This project was funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
