Land Cover Mapping for Thurston County
Monitoring the effects of urbanization is often hindered by the lack of comprehensive land cover information. In response to this long standing problem, Thurston Regional Planning Council (TRPC) is generating a Digital Land Cover Data Layer for the entire land area of Thurston County based on 5 meter panchromatic satellite data merged with 25 meter multi-spectral (7 bands) satellite data.
