Regional Economic Stimulus Projects

On February 27^th TRPC submitted its prioritized list of projects to receive economic stimulus funding through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).  Nearly $5.6 million was awarded to the region for eleven construction and preservation projects.  Another $2.3 million was awarded to Intercity Transit to purchase six replacement buses.

The purpose of the construction and preservation projects is to create jobs quickly.  To that end agencies have committed to meeting certain project delivery milestones.  This chart provides an at-a-glance status update on project delivery.  Details on each project can be found by clicking on any project.  Check back often as local agencies deliver high value projects that support job creation or retention throughout the Thurston region.
