Thurston Regional Planning Council (TRPC) carries out a wide array of responsibilities in its role as a Metropolitan Planning Organization (federal) and Regional Transportation Planning Organization (state). Those functions help to ensure a comprehensive, coordinated, and continuing approach to transportation planning across the Thurston region and with adjacent regions. TRPC offers a broad array of planning capabilities that are tailored to meet the specific needs of the region and its partners. Comprised of policy makers from TRPC and TPB, UCTF is evaluating land use along the region's key transportation corridors and within activity centers.
