Regional Coordinated Public Transit and

Human Services Transportation Plan for the Thurston Region

 

 

Federal Transportation Legislation (SAFETEA-LU) sets forth new planning requirements for coordination of human service transportation, requiring adoption of a Regional Coordinated Plan by June 30, 2007. 

 

The Regional Coordinated Plan – an update of the 2002 Area-Wide Job Access and Reverse Commute Transportation Plan for Thurston County - includes the Prioritized Project List adopted by the Council in January 2007 and the following goals:  Increase Mobility Options, Improve Individual Service, Increase Coordination with Other Systems and Programs and Increase Efficiency.
