Thurston Regional Planning Council is working to improve transportation choices and mobility for all of Thurston County, its communities, and neighboring jurisdictions. The Regional Transportation Plan guides transportation investments for both near-term and long-term projects. Policy - Guiding Documents
Regional plans provide a framework for coordinated transportation planning. These guiding documents address regionally-significant facilities or services and inform future planning and investment decisions. They are developed in collaboration with local agencies and stakeholders to ensure consistency between local and regional efforts.
Projects - What We are Working On
TRPC engages in a wide variety of projects. These projects generally relate to a specific topic or issue identified by Council and Policy Board Members. This section contains final reports, findings, and documents from recent projects. We also include status reports for current projects.
Funding - TRPC's Funding Role
Learn about TRPC’s role in awarding and programming a variety of federal transportation funding sources to improve and maintain the region’s highways, roads and bridges, transit systems, bicycle trails, and other transportation related infrastructure and services.
Administration - Administrative Functions and Documents
TRPC plays an important role in meeting federal and state planning requirements to implement and coordinate the region’s transportation planning activities. This includes working with local, state, and federal government agencies, a variety of stakeholders such as transit companies, environmental groups, and utilities, as well as the general public.
