COVID-19 Announcement

Friday, March 13, 2020

To our valued partners and customers,

We appreciate the trust you have in the Thurston Regional Planning Council, and we wanted to share the steps we are taking in response to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak.

As always, our priority is to protect our partners, customers, and employees as we perform our daily business.  In the current environment we are following guidance from health experts and elected officials at the state and local levels to stop the spread of germs and reduce risk.

Here are some of the actions we’re taking:

  • We are limiting physical access to our building to pre-scheduled appointments, and we are encouraging partners and customers to contact us by telephone or email (link to directory).
  • We are making meetings accessible through remote technology and encouraging meeting participants to not come to our physical offices.
  • We are encouraging our employees to work from home.
  • If you do visit our offices, you’ll find that we are practicing social distancing and minimizing personal contact (avoiding handshakes, for example). Also, we are frequently disinfecting common areas, work spaces and meeting facilities.

Thank you for your patience as we respond to the changing nature of this event. And if you have questions, be sure to contact us.
