FEDERAL TRANSPORTATION FUNDING FOR PROJECTS IN THE THURSTON COUNTY REGION AND RTIP AMENDMENT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Thurston Regional Planning Council (TRPC) invites all community members and stakeholders to review and submit comments on reprogramming a combined total $657,000 federal Surface Transportation Program grant funds from the City of Tumwater Old Hwy 99/79th Avenue Roundabout Project to two other projects in the City of Tumwater as follows: $389,250 to the Old Hwy 99 Corridor study; and $267,750 to the Citywide NHS Resurfacing Project.
This public review also supports an amendment to the 2019-2022 Regional Transportation Improvement Program (RTIP) reflecting the transfer of these funds. TRPC is scheduled to consider approval of the transfer of funds and RTIP amendment on Friday, April 5, 2019.
