The Regional Transportation Improvement Program (RTIP) is a four-year plan that is updated annually. The RTIP provides a regional overview of funding secured and planned transportation projects, based on the local Transportation Improvement Programs (TIPs) developed by each jurisdiction. TPB will be asked to provide recommendation to the TRPC Council regarding their action on the RTIP in October.

Staff will provide an overview of the process for determining legislative priorities, and the Chair will appoint three members to the joint TRPC/TPB Legislative Subcommittee. At their September 2, 2022 meeting, the Council appointed Olympia Councilmember Clark Gilman and Yelm Mayor Joe DePinto to serve, and also identified members willing to visit legislators if needed.
